Left Neglected By Lisa Genova

Sarah Nickerson has three kids, Lucy, Charlie, and Linus. She is a very successful women, works for a strategy consulting firm as the vice president of human resources.

Every day is a battle for Sarah as she tries to balance herself to be with her kids and husband and also have to be at work when needed. She often wishes she could have some time to relax from her busy life but she gets a downtime she did not dream of having. Sarah suffers a severe accident that causes some brain damage and completely changes her life. The good thing about it was that she got the chance to get to know her mother again, get to connect with her and know why her mother was not there after her brother's terrible death.

Also all her big life changes give her the opportunity to realize what really matters and to get to know herself as well as get closer to her husband.

It was a lovely story I couldn't wait to be able to continue reading it. Lisa Genova did an amazing job with this book. I learned a lot and it got me thinking so much about life.

Sacrifices (Embraced by Darkness, #1) By Tarah L. Wolff

This books is another one of my favorites it was pretty sad but it was what I enjoy reading. There was a little bit of everything that made it even more fun for me to read. There was magic, centaurs (which I find fascinating to read about), vamepires, evil creatures and dark magic.

What I loved the most in this book was Karalay's relationship with Jarridd. Also Jezaline's story but I didn't know and really didn't get to know more about her. She really didn't know what she wanted which is the only thing I didn't like about that character much.

Osondrous was the only one that made me mad sometimes and sometimes I like the way she handled things. I felt she was the only one certain about who she was and what she was doing. But Karalay was my favorite character.

Anyways it was a good fantasy book I enjoyed reading it and am so going to buy the next one.

Dream Lover by Suzanne Jenkins

Everything in the 3rd books different from the rest, it started out with stories from different people that Jack was having sexual relationships with. Most of those people that were in his life really thought he was insane. I also got the feeling that some of them hated him. Pam has to go through a lot more hard times and embarassment first because she gets visits from some og this people and because she discovers that two employees from her favorite store know about her AIDS so she is forced to tell her kids before anyboy else tells them.

Pam discovered a whole lot more about Jack and his secret life (not so secret anymore). I don't know where she gets all that strength and patience after knowing mostly everything about him. Lots of things happened with Sarah and Tom, Mary and Steve and I really did not in a million years would have expected detective Andrews reaction when Pam told him the truth. But the good thing is that she finds a real person that seems to be a really nice guy.

Pam of Babylon (Pam of Babylon #1) by Suzanne Jenkins

Pam had a normal life. She is a mother and a wife. Her life was nothing out of the ordinary until the day her husband died. She started realizing and opening her eyes to what was really going on around her. Pam's husband Jack was hiding pretty big secrets from her and lived a triple life. There were dark secrets that would soon come to reveal themselves, some involved his siblings and a very strong one that involved his sister-in-law.

I was shocked as I kept reading I was hating this guy (Jack) how he got away with all the things he did and at the same time I was thinking that maybe it'll all turn out to be a lie. But no, Jack was a possessive man. He had his wife mistress, and his sister- in -law and controlled them with ought them noticing with everything he did and said to them. He knew he would have them in his control afraid to speak for themselves. But Pam discovered how strong she was after he died. She also met Jack's mistress Sandra who would later have a very strong bond with and it seems that Pam, Sandra and maybe Marie who right now hates Sandra will make a really strong relationship.

In a way it was unbelievable that Pam would forgive Sandra but she does and then she does forgive her sister. It also didn't sound like she hated Jack but instead she would say poor Jack quite a few times. This book seriously impacted me, it was just too much to take. It truly gave me a headache (a good one) lol. I do recommend it. I do not assure you you will like it because not all of us like the same books. We all have different tastes but it was a good read to me.

Thank you Suzanne for letting me read your books. :)

Don't You Forget About Me (Pam of Babylon #2) by Suzanne Jenkins

In this second book of Pam of Babylon series things get worst. This three women that were a part of Jack's life are finding out more and more things about him that are not surprising them anymore.

What I can't understand at all is why Pam is still saying that she needs time to grief, I think in some way she's still in denial about most of the things he did. Marie starts what she thinks is a relationship but later in the story she finds out Jeff just wants her as a friend. Sandra gets in what she thinks will be a relationship but then to the end of the book things turn out different. It is sad how this women are always going to be connected by what Jack left them with to deal for the rest of their lives. One of the person's I really disliked was Bernice that lady is the worst. If I was Pam I wouldn't stand the lady and just sell the place or whatever because that lady doesn't seem like she'll ever change and has no feelings at all she cares only for those who didn't deserve it at all. She will keep stepping on Pam and I extremely hated it when she had that confrontation in the car when they were going to eat. Bernice really got in my nerves. I think this is the saddest of all the books it scares me too I don't think I could live happy after something that terrible and I think there will be more depressing and shocking news to come to this three ladies.

Lots of things came to the surface in this 2nd book that made me think about Pam's children and Anne's I hope Suzanne Jenkins answers all my questions in the last book that I will start reading as soon as possible.
